Essential oils with cooling properties!🌬️

1 min read

Did you know that some essential oils have cooling properties?! Me neither until i started making candles and studying aromatherapy!

Essential oils with cooling properties:

• Peppermint

• Lavender

• Spearmint

• Eucalyptus

• Sweet orange

• Lime

Safe ways to use them:

•DIY body mist: Mix water, alcohol-free witch hazel, and a few drops of peppermint or lavender in a spray bottle to mist over your skin

•Pulse point application: Dilute 1-2drops of your chosen oil in a carrier oil or aloe vera gel before applying to your wrists, neck or temples.

• Room diffusion: Add a few drops to an aromatherapy diffuser to refresh a warm indoor space

•Candles (specifically from Violets Ventures)

Important safety tips:

•Always dilute essential oils before applying them to your skin to avoid irritation

•Use peppermint and strong mint oils sparingly, as they are very potent

•Keep strong mint and eucalyptus oils away from the faces of small children and ensure good room ventilation if you have pets!

Thankyou for reading,
